This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Juraij with the same chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording.

مسلم:٢١٩٩b – وَحَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأُمَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ أَرْقِيهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَرْقِي
