Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having forbidden taking of rent or share of land.  

مسلم:١٥٣٦n – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الأَخْنَسِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُؤْخَذَ لِلأَرْضِ أَجْرٌ أَوْ حَظٌّ
