Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent eighteen sacrificial camels with a person. The rest of the hadith is the same, and the first part (of the above-mentioned hadith) is not mentioned.  

مسلم:١٣٢٥b – وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ بِثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ بَدَنَةً مَعَ رَجُلٍ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَوَّلَ الْحَدِيثِ
