malik:29-71Mālik > Nāfiʿ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar divorced one of his wives in the house of Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the way to the mosque. He went another route from behind the houses being averse to ask permission to enter until he returned to her.

[Machine] His wife was in the house of Hafsa, and his route to the mosque was through another street, avoiding passing by the houses in order to not disturb her until he returned. It was narrated from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah and Amr ibn Dinar that they said: "It is not permissible for him to have anything from her until he asks her permission again."
