malik:2-50Yaḥyá > Mālik > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ḥarmalah al-Aslamī

Yahya related to me that Abd ar-Rahman ibn Harmala al-Aslami said, "I saw Said ibn al-Musayyab with his nose bleeding and blood poured out of it so that his fingers were all red from the blood coming out of his nose, and he prayed without doing wudu."  

مالك:٢-٥٠حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ الأَسْلَمِيِّ

رَأَيْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ يَرْعُفُ، فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الدَّمُ، حَتَّى تَخْتَضِبَ أَصَابِعُهُ مِنَ الدَّمِ الَّذِي يَخْرُجُ مِنَ أَنْفِهِ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي، وَلَا يَتَوَضَأُ
