Yahya related to me from Malik that Ibn Shihab said, "Walking behind the bier is in contradiction to the sunna."  

مالك:١٦-١٢ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمَشْىُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ مِنْ خَطَإِ السُّنَّةِ
