2. The Book of Purification

٢۔ كتاب الطهارة

2.30 The obligation to wash away urine and other impurities if they result in the Masjid, and the ground may be purified with water with no need to scrub it

٢۔٣٠ باب وُجُوبِ غَسْلِ الْبَوْلِ وَغَيْرِهِ مِنَ النَّجَاسَاتِ إِذَا حَصُلَتْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَأَنَّ الأَرْضَ تَطْهُرُ بِالْمَاءِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَاجَةٍ إِلَى حَفْرِهَا

(162) bukhari:6025ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb > Ḥammād b. Zayd > Thābit > Anas b. Mālik

A bedouin urinated in the mosque and the people ran to (beat) him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not interrupt his urination (i.e. let him finish)." Then the Prophet ﷺ asked for a tumbler of water and poured the water over the place of urine.  

(١٦٢) البخاري:٦٠٢٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامُوا إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لا تُزْرِمُوهُ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصُبَّ عَلَيْهِ
