13.26 It is Permissible to delay making up missed Ramadan Fasts until before the next Ramadan comes, and this is for those who broke the fast for a reason such as sickness, travel, menstruation and the like

١٣۔٢٦ باب قَضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ فِي شَعْبَانَ

Delaying missed Ramadan fasts until Shaban

(703) bukhari:1950 – Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Zuhayr > Yaḥyá > Abū Salamah > ʿĀʾishah

"Fasts from Ramadan would be due from me, but I would not be able to make them up except in Shaban."

Yahya said: The preoccupation was because of the Prophet ﷺ, or with the Prophet ﷺ.

(٧٠٣) البخاري:١٩٥٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ تَقُولُ

كَانَ يَكُونُ عَلَىَّ الصَّوْمُ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَمَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ إِلاَّ فِي شَعْبَانَ.

قَالَ يَحْيَى: الشُّغْلُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ أَوْ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ.
