ibnmajah:758 – ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Bishr b. al-Ḥakam And ʾAḥmad b. al-Azhar > Mālik b. Suʿayr > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Messenger of Allah commanded that mosque to be built in (Ad-Dur) villages, and that they be purified and perfumed.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِالْمَسَاجِدِ أَنْ تُبْنَى فِي الدُّورِ وَأَنْ تُطَهَّرَ وَتُطَيَّبَ
