“O Messenger of Allah, what should I do with these? Shall I wear them?” He said: “No, rather make them into head-cloths and give them to the Fatimahs.”**

ابن ماجة:٣٥٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ حَدَّثَنِي هُبَيْرَةُ بْنُ يَرِيمَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّهُ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حُلَّةٌ مَكْفُوفَةٌ بِحَرِيرٍ إِمَّا سَدَاؤُهَا وَإِمَّا لُحْمَتُهَا فَأَرْسَلَ بِهَا إِلَىَّ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَصْنَعُ بِهَا أَلْبَسُهَا قَالَ لاَ وَلَكِنِ اجْعَلْهَا خُمُرًا بَيْنَ الْفَوَاطِمِ

"عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: أُهْدِىَ للنبِى ﷺ حُلَّة مَكْفُوفَة بِحَرِير إمّا سُدَاهَا وإِمَّا لُحْمَتَهَا، فَأَرْسَلَ بِهَا إِلىَّ، فَأتَيْتُهُ فَقُلتُ يَا رَسُولَ الله: مَا أَصْنَعُ بِهَا؟ ألبَسُهَا؟ قَالَ: لاَ، وَلَكِنِ اجْعَلهَا خُمُرًا بَيْنَ الفَوَاطِم".
