Ishtimalus-Samma’ and Ihtiba’, exposing one’s private part to the sky.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَعَنِ الاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ يُفْضِي بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ
Ishtimalus-Samma’ and Ihtiba’, exposing one’s private part to the sky.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَعَنِ الاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ يُفْضِي بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Ishtimal-As-Samma' (wrapping one's body with a garment so that one cannot raise its end or take one's hand out of it). He also forbade Al-Ihtiba' (sitting on buttocks with knees close to ʿAbdomen and feet apart with the hands circling the knees) while wrapping oneself with a single garment, without having a part of it over the private parts.
أَنَّهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ
The Prophet ﷺ forbade two kinds of sales i.e. Al-Limais and An-Nibadh (the former is a kind of sale in which the deal is completed if the buyer touches a thing, without seeing or checking it properly and the latter is a kind of a sale in which the deal is completed when the seller throws a thing towards the buyer giving him no opportunity to see, touch or check it) and (the Prophet ﷺ forbade) also Ishtimal-As- Samma' and Al-Ihtiba' in a single garment.
نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ عَنِ اللِّمَاسِ وَالنِّبَاذِ وَأَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ الصَّمَّاءَ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ
The Prophet ﷺ forbade Ishtimal-as-Samma' and that a man should sit in an Ihtiba' posture in one garment, nothing of which covers his private parts.
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ
The Prophet ﷺ forbade two kinds of dresses and two kinds of bargains; Ishtimal As-Samma and Al- Ihtiba in one garment with no part of it covering one's private parts. (The two kinds of bargains were:) Al-Mulamasa and Al-Munabadha.
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَالاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِ الإِنْسَانِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ وَالْمُلاَمَسَةِ وَالْمُنَابَذَةِ
The Prophet ﷺ forbade two types of business transactions and two ways of dressing. The two types of business transactions are mulamasah and munabadhah. As regards the two ways of dressing, they are the wrapping of the samma', and that when a man wraps himself up in a single garment while sitting in such a way that he does not cover his private parts or there is no garment on his private parts.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَمَّا الْبَيْعَتَانِ فَالْمُلاَمَسَةُ وَالْمُنَابَذَةُ وَأَمَّا اللِّبْسَتَانِ فَاشْتِمَالُ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ كَاشِفًا عَنْ فَرْجِهِ أَوْ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing clothes in two styles: that a man sits in a single garment with his hands round his knees and uncover his private parts towards heaven and that he wears his garment while one of his sides is uncovered, and puts the garment on his shoulders.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ مُفْضِيًا بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَيَلْبَسَ ثَوْبَهُ وَأَحَدُ جَانِبَيْهِ خَارِجٌ وَيُلْقِي ثَوْبَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that a man should wrap himself completely in a garment with his hands hidden it, or sit in a single garment with his hands round his knees.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَعَنْ الاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited two types of dress: As-Sama', and that a man sits with his legs drawn up in a garment, while there is nothing covering his private area.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسَتَيْنِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ بِثَوْبِهِ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade Ishtimal As-Samma' and wrapping oneself in a single garment (that did not cover the private parts)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Prophet ﷺ forbade two kinds of dress. Those two types of dress are Ishtimalus- Samma’* and Ihtiba’ in a single garment, with no part of it upon his private part.**
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ فَأَمَّا اللِّبْسَتَانِ فَاشْتِمَالُ الصَّمَّاءِ وَالاِحْتِبَاءُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two kinds of dress: Ishtimalus-Samma’ and Ihtiba’ in one garment, when you are exposing your private part to the sky.”
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَالاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ وَأَنْتَ مُفْضٍ فَرْجَكَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, forbade wearing two garments at once, so that there is nothing between one's private parts and the sky. He also forbade wearing the saummah, which was a specific type of garment worn by Jewish people.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَ فَرْجِهِ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ وَعَنِ الصَّمَّاءِ اشْتِمَالِ الْيَهُودِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling two sales in one sale and wearing two garments in one garment, and for one of you to cover his mouth in one garment, or to wear one garment in which there is nothing between it and the sky.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْعَةٍ وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصَّمَّاءَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ أَوْ يَحْتَبِيَ بِثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ
[AI] "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade the combination of two sales in one transaction and the combination of two garments in a single piece of clothing, such as covering the shoulder with one garment and covering the head with another garment that has nothing between it and the head."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْعَةٍ وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصَّمَّاءَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ أَوْ يَحْتَبِيَ بِثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited wearing tight clothing and for a man to gather his clothes in a way that the opening of his private parts is exposed towards the sky.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ لُبْسِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ يُفْضِي بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah prohibited making two transactions in one transaction, and wearing two garments over each other without anything in between them. He also prohibited wearing the smamma (a type of turban) in the way that the Jews do. Muhammad described this by making it from one of its sides, and then lifting it up.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْعَةٍ وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنَ فَرْجِهِ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ وَعَنِ الصَّمَّاءِ اشْتِمَالِ الْيَهُودِ وَوَصَفَ لَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ جَعَلَهَا مِنْ أَحَدِ جَانِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهَا
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing two types of clothing and engaging in two types of transactions. As for the two transactions, they are the simultaneous exchange and the deferred exchange. And as for the two types of clothing, they are the wearing of a shirt over a shirt, and the covering of oneself in a single garment such that nothing is left on his private parts.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّمَّاءَ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zubayr from Jabir ibn Abdullah as-Salami that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man to eat with his left hand or walk in one sandal or wrap a single garment around his drawn-up legs exposing his genitals.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الرَّجُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ أَوْ يَمْشِيَ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَأَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ الصَّمَّاءَ وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ كَاشِفًا عَنْ فَرْجِهِ
[AI] "The Prophetﷺ forbade containing flammable materials."
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نهى عن لبستين أن يجتبي الرجل في الثوب الواحد ليس على فرجه منه شيء وأن يشتمل في الثوب الواحد

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing two garments at once, wrapping oneself in a single garment that exposes one's private parts towards the sky. This was narrated in the two Sahihs from the Hadith of Ubaidullah ibn Umar.
