Black seed as a remedy
We went out, and with us was Ghalib b. Abjar. He fell ill on the way, and we came to Madinah while he was ill. Ibn Abu Atiq visited him and said to us, "Use this black seed. Take five or seven of them, grind them, then drip it into his nose with drops of oil, on this side and on this side; for Aishah told them that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed, this black seed is a cure for every disease, unless it is sam."" I said, "What is al-sam?" He said, "Death."
