[Machine] The family of Muhammad (pbuh) used to live for three months without kindling a fire in which they would have nothing to burn except water and dates. Around us were families from the Ansar (helpers) who had chickens in their courtyards. So the people of each house would send to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) the surplus of their soup, and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) would have some of that milk.
