ibnhibban:6905Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Qaṭan b. Nusayr al-Ghubarī > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān al-Ḍubaʿī > Thābit al-Bunānī > Abū Rāfiʿ > Kān

[Machine] "O Commander of the Believers, the weight of my deception has become heavy upon me, so speak to him and lighten my burden." Umar said to him, "Fear Allah and be good to your master." The servant became angry and said, "The people have enough of your fairness, aside from me." He then plotted to kill him and made a dagger with two heads and named it. He then went to Hurmuzan and said, "What do you think of this?" He replied, "With this, you will not strike anyone except that you kill them."
