ذِكْرُ كِتْبَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كِتَابَهُ إِلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ wrote to Bakr ibn Wail, 'From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, to Bakr ibn Wail, that you accept Islam and be safe.' No one among them except a man from the Banu Dhubay'ah tribe recited this, for they were called Banu al-Katib."  

ابن حبّان:٦٥٥٨أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الطَّاحِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ خَالِدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَتَبَ إِلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ «مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ إِلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ أَنْ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا» قَالَ فَمَا قَرَأَهُ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ بَنِي ضُبَيْعَةَ فَهُمْ يُسَمَّوْنَ بَنِي الْكَاتِبِ
