[Machine] Abdullah entered upon a woman who had an amulet around her neck, so he pulled it and cut it off. Then he said, "The descendants of Abdullah have become wealthy enough that they should not associate partners with Allah without any authority." Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Verily, incantations, amulets, and charms are forms of associating partners with Allah.'" They said, "O Abu Abdur-Rahman, we understand what incantations and amulets are, but what is al-tiwalah?" He said, "It is something that women do to enchant their husbands."
