ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ تَنْظُرَ الْمَرْأَةُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي لَا يُبْصِرُ
[Machine] I and Maymuna were with the Prophet ﷺ when Ibn Umm Maktum came seeking permission. This was after the hijab (curtain) was revealed. The Prophet said, "Stand up." We said, "But he is blind and cannot see us." He asked, "But do you not see him?"
كُنْتُ أَنَا وَمَيْمُونَةُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ يَسْتَأْذِنُ وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ أَنْ ضُرِبَ الْحِجَابُ فَقَالَ «قُومَا» فَقُلْنَا إِنَّهُ مَكْفُوفٌ وَلَا يُبْصِرُنَا قَالَ «أَفَعَمْيَاوَانِ أَنْتُمَا لَا تُبْصِرَانِهِ؟! » *
