ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ إِجَابَةِ الْمَرْءِ إِذَا دُعِيَ عَلَى الشَّيْءِ الطَّفِيفِ

ibnhibban:5293 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Hudbah b. Khālid > Hammām b. Yaḥyá > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

[AI] "A tailor in the city invited the Messenger of Allahﷺ for a meal of barley bread and a stew with small pieces of meat in it. The stew had some pumpkins in it. Anas narrated, 'I used to see the Prophetﷺ liking the pumpkin, so I would bring it before him. The pumpkin always pleased me since I saw that it pleased him, peace be upon him.'"

ابن حبّان:٥٢٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

«أَنَّ خَيَّاطًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ دَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى خُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ وَإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ وَكَانَ فِيهَا قَرْعٌ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَكُنْتُ أَرَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ الْقَرْعُ قَالَ فَكُنْتُ أُقَدِّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَزَلِ الْقَرْعُ يُعْجِبُنِي مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُهُ يُعْجِبُهُ ﷺ»

[AI] A tailor invited the Prophet ﷺ to a meal, so he brought him a meal that he had prepared with dürum bread and legumes. I saw the Prophet ﷺ eating the legumes with his fingers. Anas said, "I have always liked legumes since I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ liking them."

أَنَّ خَيَّاطًا دَعَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِلَى طَعَامٍ فَأَتَاهُ بِطَعَامٍ وَقَدْ جَعَلَهُ بِإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ وَقَرْعٍ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَتْبَعُ الْقَرْعَ مِنْ الصَّحْفَةِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَمَا زِلْتُ يُعْجِبُنِي الْقَرْعُ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ

ahmad:13643 – ʿAffān > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas

[AI] A tailor in the city invited the Prophet ﷺ for a meal. He said, "When barley bread with soup is served, the Prophet ﷺ liked it." Anas said, "I have always liked barley bread since I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ liking it."

أحمد:١٣٦٤٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسٌ

أَنَّ خَيَّاطًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ دَعَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لِطَعَامِهِ قَالَ فَإِذَا خُبْزُ شَعِيرٍ بِإِهَالَةٍ سَنِخَةٍ وَإِذَا فِيهَا قَرْعٌ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ الْقَرْعُ قَالَ أَنَسٌ لَمْ يَزَلِ الْقَرْعُ يُعْجِبُنِي مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ

ahmad:14085 – Bahz > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

[AI] "I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a tailor from the people of Madinah had invited him. There was barley bread and a dish of meat stew. He said, 'There are chickpeas in it.' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ liked chickpeas.' I then placed it closer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Anas said, 'I have always liked chickpeas since I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ liking them.'"
