[Machine] When he was invited, he would go to the inviter. If he was fasting, he would pray for blessings and then depart. But if he had broken his fast, he would sit and eat. Nafi said: Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you are invited to a meal, respond to the invitation."  

ابن حبّان:٥٢٩٠أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ الْأَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيِّ أَنَّ نَافِعًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ

كَانَ إِذَا دُعِيَ ذَهَبَ إِلَى الدَّاعِي فَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا دَعَا بِالْبَرَكَةِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مُفْطِرًا جَلَسَ فَأَكَلَ قَالَ نَافِعٌ قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ إِلَى كُرَاعٍ فَأَجِيبُوا»
