ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْبَعْضِ الْآخَرِ مِنَ الْحَلِفِ الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا الْبَيَّاعَ

[Machine] An Arab man passed by with a sheep, so I said, "Will you sell it to me for three dirhams?" He said, "No, by Allah!" Then he sold it to someone else. I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "He sold his hereafter for his worldly life."  

ابن حبّان:٤٩٠٩أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْبُخَارِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهُدَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

مَرَّ أَعْرَابِيٌّ بِشَاةٍ فَقُلْتُ تَبِيعُنِيهَا بِثَلَاثَةِ دَرَاهِمَ؟ قَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ ثُمَّ بَاعَنِيهَا فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «بَاعَ آخِرَتَهُ بِدُنْيَاهُ»
