ذِكْرُ مَا كَانَ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ إِذَا كَانَ جُنُبًا

ibnhibban:1201al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb > al-Qaʿnabī > Mālik > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] Narrated by al-Qa'nabi from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr from A'isha, she said: "The Prophet ﷺ used to perform ghusl (ritual purification bath) using a vessel that contained water, and it was the amount necessary to remove major ceremonial impurity (janaba)."  

ابن حبّان:١٢٠١أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَهُوَ الْفَرَقُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»
