[Machine] "You should know that the differences between people are found between Babylon and Hira. You should know that nine-tenths of goodness and one-tenth of evil is found in Sham. You should know that nine-tenths of evil and one-tenth of goodness is found elsewhere. And the one that holds the soul of Ibn Mas'ud in his hand, it is highly likely that the most beloved thing on earth to any of you is to have a red camel that transports his family to Sham."  

الحاكم:٨٥٤١حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ ثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

«تَعْلَمُنَّ أَنَّكُمْ بِحَيْثُ تَخْتَلِفُ الْإِنْسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ بَابِلَ وَالْحِيرَةِ تَعْلَمُنَّ أَنَّ تِسْعَةَ أَعْشَارٍ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَعُشْرًا مِنَ الشَّرِّ بِالشَّامِ تَعْلَمُنَّ أَنَّ تِسْعَةَ أَعْشَارٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ وَعُشْرًا مِنَ الْخَيْرِ بِسِوَاهَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ بِيَدِهِ لَيُوشِكَنَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَبُّ شَيْءٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ أَحْمِرَةٌ تَنْقُلُ أَهْلَهُ إِلَى الشَّامِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح
