[Machine] "When we arrived at the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, they brought him dates from their harvest and they started eating them. They named those dates after themselves and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we do not know the names of these dates except for the ones we named after ourselves.' Then the Prophet ﷺ told a man from the close companions to feed us from the remaining dates. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'These are the Barnee dates, and they are the best among your dates, and they are a medicine without any illness.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary."  

لَمَّا قَدِمْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْرَجُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَمْرًا مِنْ تَمَرَاتِهِمْ فَجَعَلُوا يَأْكُلُونَهُ فَسَمَّى تِلْكَ التَّمَرَاتِ بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ فَقَالُوا مَا نَحْنُ بِأَعْلَمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَسْمَائِهَا مِنْكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ أَطْعَمَنَا مِنْ بَقِيَّةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «هَذَا الْبَرْنِيُّ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ تُمُورِكُمْ وَهُوَ دَوَاءٌ لَا دَاءَ فِيهِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
