[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned with Saad bin Zurarah and had a thorn in his foot. When he went to him, he said, "This dead person (referring to the thorn) is a horrible thing. The Jews say that if he cannot afford to treat it and he cannot even take care of himself, then he should not be blamed for his father, Ummamah." He ordered for it to be removed, and he died.  

الحاكم:٧٤٩٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَادَ سَعْدَ بْنَ زُرَارَةَ وَبِهِ الشَّوْكَةُ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ «بِئْسَ الْمَيِّتُ هَذَا الْيَهُودُ يَقُولُونَ لَوْلَا دَفَعَ عَنْهُ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ لَهُ وَلَا أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي شَيْئًا وَلَا يَلُومَنَّ فِي أَبِي أُمَامَةَ» فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَكُوِيَ فَمَاتَ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ إِذَا كَانَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ عِنْدَهُمَا مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
