[Machine] "Al-Harith ibn al-Barssa is Harith ibn Malik ibn Qais ibn 'Uwaydh ibn Abdullah ibn Jabir ibn Abd Manaf ibn Ashja ibn 'Amir ibn Layth, and his mother is al-Barssa bint Abdullah ibn Rabiah al-Hilaliyyah. He resided in Mecca and then moved to Kufa."  

الحاكم:٦٦٣٢أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ

«الْحَارِثُ ابْنُ الْبَرْصَاءِ هُوَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُوَيْذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ أَشْجَعَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ وَأُمُّهُ الْبَرْصَاءُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْهِلَالِيَّةُ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ الْكُوفَةَ»
