[Machine] "Amir ibn Wathilah ibn Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Jahsh ibn Hayyan ibn Saad ibn Laith was born in the year of the Battle of Uhud and lived for 80 years during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ . He settled in Kufa for a while and then resided in Mecca until his death. He was the last companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pass away. He died in the year 202 AH."

The quotation is incomplete and there is no mention of why Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.  

الحاكم:٦٥٩٢حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

«عَامِرُ بْنُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَحْشِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ وُلِدَ عَامَ أُحُدٍ وَأَدْرَكَ مِنْ حَيَاةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثَمَانَ سِنِينَ نَزَلَ الْكُوفَةَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ حَتَّى مَاتَ وَهُوَ آخِرُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَاتَ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَمِائَةٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
