[Machine] Abu Dhar said, "We came to our people as preachers before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, and some of them embraced Islam. Their leader was 'Imamah ibn Rahdah." Al-Dhahabi did not mention this in his abridged version.

أَبُو ذَرٍّ «أَتَيْنَا قَوْمَنَا غِفَارًا فَأَسْلَمَ بَعْضُهُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْدَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ وَكَانَ يَؤُمُّهُمْ إِيمَاءُ بْنُ رَحَضَةَ وَكَانَ سَيِّدَهُمْ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
