[Machine] "Busr, the son of Abu Arta'ah, died during the caliphate of Muawiyah. He had reached an old age and suffered from dementia. He was also known as Abu Abdur Rahman. He passed away in Al-Madina, while his son was born in Basra."  

الحاكم:٦٥٠٧أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ

«مَاتَ بُسْرُ بْنُ أَبِي أَرْطَأَةَ فِي خِلَافَةِ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَكَانَ قَدْ كَبُرَ سِنُّهُ حَتَّى خَرِفَ وَكَانَ يُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ تُوُفِّيَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَوَلَدُهُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ»
