[Machine] About six of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were Omar, Abdullah, and Zaid, whose knowledge was similar to one another. They would take some knowledge from each other. I asked Ash-Sha'bi and Al-Ash'ari, who were they? He said, "They were one of the jurists."

عَنْ سِتَّةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ عُمَرُ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَزَيْدٌ يُشْبِهُ عِلْمُهُمْ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا فَكَانَ يَقْتَبِسُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لِلشَّعْبِيِّ وَكَانَ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ إِلَى هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ أَحَدُ الْفُقَهَاءِ»
