[Machine] "And Mu'adh bin Amr bin al-Jamuh experienced a tragedy on the Day of Badr, and he remained ill until the time of Uthman, then he passed away in Medina in the year fourteen. Uthman bin Affan performed the funeral prayer for him, and he was buried in al-Baqi'."  

الحاكم:٥٧٩٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ

«وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْجَمُوحِ أَصَابَتْهُ نَكْبَةٌ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فَبَقِيَ عَلِيلًا إِلَى عَهْدِ عُثْمَانَ ثُمَّ تُوُفِّيَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ وَدُفِنَ بِالْبَقِيعِ»
