[Machine] About his elders, they said, "Abu Kabsha, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , his name was Sulaym and he was from the land of Daws. Abu Kabsha witnessed Badr and Uhud and all the major battles. He passed away on the first day he was appointed by Umar ibn Al-Khattab. This happened on a Tuesday, in the eight remaining nights of Jumada al-Ula, in the thirteenth year of Hijrah." Al-Dhahabi removed this narration from the abridged version due to its weakness.
