[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to Tabuk, he would frequently stay behind, and the people would say, "O Messenger of Allah, so and so has stayed behind." He would reply, "Leave him, if there is any good in him, Allah will bring him to you, and if there is no good in him, then Allah has saved you from him." This continued until it was said, "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Dharr has stayed behind and his camel is slow." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave him, if there is any good in him, Allah will bring him to you, and if there is no good in him, then Allah has saved you from him." Abu Dharr blamed his camel for being slow, so he took his belongings and placed them on its back and started walking to catch up with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in one of his houses and a Muslim saw a man walking on the road and said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "O Messenger of Allah, there is a man walking on the road." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is Abu Dharr." When the people recognized him, they said, "By Allah, it is indeed Abu Dharr!" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Dharr. He walks alone, dies alone, and will be resurrected alone." Time went on and Abu Dharr reached Rabadhah, and when death approached him, he advised his wife and slave, "When I die, wash me, shroud me, then carry me and place me on the side of the road. The first caravan that passes by, say, 'This is Abu Dharr.' When I die, do as I have instructed." When Abu Dharr passed away, they did as they were told. A group of people passed by, unaware of Abu Dharr's death, and their rides nearly trampled his body. Then Ibn Mas'ud came in a group from the people of Kufa and they asked, "What is this?" They were told, "It is the funeral of Abu Dharr." Ibn Mas'ud started to cry and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke the truth, may Allah have mercy on Abu Dharr. He walks alone, dies alone, and will be resurrected alone." Then he descended from his camel until he reached him and his group covered him with dirt. When they reached Madinah, Uthman mentioned what Abdullah said
