[Machine] The Quran descended in its entirety from the highest heavens to the lower heavens in one night. Then it was revealed gradually over the years. He (Prophet Muhammad) said, and recited this verse: "So I swear by the positions of the stars - and indeed, that is a great oath, if you only knew." [Surah Al-Waqi'ah 76]  

الحاكم:٣٩٥٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ الْعُلْيَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ثُمَّ فُرِّقَ فِي السِّنِينَ قَالَ وَتَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَاقِعِ النُّجُومِ وَإِنَّهُ لَقَسَمٌ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ} [الواقعة 76]  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
