[Machine] The people of Makkah asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a sign, so the moon split into two in Makkah twice. Allah Almighty said, "The Hour has come near, and the moon has split." (Quran, Surah Al-Qamar, 1). The two prominent scholars, Shu'bah and Qatadah, have agreed upon the narration of Shu'bah from Qatadah, who reported from Anas that the moon split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and they did not mention this event in the continuation of the narration reported by Ma'mar. This narration is authentic according to their conditions. In Sahihain (Bukhari and Muslim), there is a narration from Qatadah through Anas that the moon split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .
