[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: “Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We will increase for him his harvest; and whoever desires the harvest of this world, We will give him of it, but he will have no share in the Hereafter” [Ash-Shura 20]. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah, the Exalted, says: “Son of Adam, devote yourself to My worship; I will fill your chest with richness and I will alleviate your poverty. But if you do not do so, I will fill your chest with preoccupation and I will not alleviate your poverty.”

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح

from the Prophet ﷺ who said: “Indeed, Allah, Exalted is He, says: ‘O son of Adam, devote yourself to My worship; I will fill your chest with richness and I will suffice your poverty. But if you do not, I will fill your hands with preoccupation and I will not suffice your poverty.’”

الترمذي:٢٤٦٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيُّ اسْمُهُ هُرْمُزُ

A person must devote to the worship of the Almighty for his means
