[Machine] It descended upon Abu Talib, he was "Forbidding the polytheists from harming him and keeping away from him." The narration of Hamza bin Habib is authentic according to the criteria of the two Sheikhs, and they did not exclude it.  

الحاكم:٣٢٢٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ {وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ} [الأنعام 26] قَالَ

نَزَلَتْ فِي أَبِي طَالِبٍ كَانَ «يَنْهَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَنْ يُؤْذُوهُ وَيَنْأَى عَنْهُ» حَدِيثُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ
