[Machine] They were four thousand who escaped from the plague and said, "Let's go to a land where there is no death." Then Allah said to them, "Die!" and they died. Then a prophet passed by them and asked Allah to revive them, so He revived them. They are the ones whom Allah, the Almighty, said about, "And they are those who have passed away in Allah's cause." [Quran 2:243]  

الحاكم:٣١١٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَهُمْ أُلُوفٌ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ} [البقرة 243] قَالَ كَانُوا أَرْبَعَةَ آلَافٍ خَرَجُوا فِرَارًا مِنَ الطَّاعُونِ وَقَالُوا نَأْتِي أَرْضًا لَيْسَ بِهَا مَوْتٌ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللَّهُ مُوتُوا فَمَاتُوا فَمَرَّ بِهِمْ نَبِيٌّ فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُحْيِيَهُمْ فَأَحْيَاهُمْ فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {وَهُمْ أُلُوفٌ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ} [البقرة 243]  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» ميسرة لم يرويا له
