[Machine] "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we said, 'If only we knew which deeds are most beloved to Allah.' So the Prophet mentioned the Hadith, and this narration is not from the Hadith of Al-Walid ibn Muslim, for Al-Hiqal ibn Ziyad, even though he was trustworthy and reliable, he had doubts about its authenticity. And from the evidence indicating the authenticity of the chain of narration of Abu Salamah is that Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Muhammad Al-Fazari, the memorizer of the companions of Al-Awza'i, narrated it with an additional wording in the first chain according to the conditions of Bukhari and Muslim."  

الحاكم:٢٣٨٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادَةَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي هِلَالُ بْنُ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلَامٍ حَدَّثَهُ وَقَالَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقُلْنَا لَوْ عَلِمْنَا أَيَّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَهَذَا لَا يُقَالُ حَدِيثُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنَّ الْهِقْلَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَحِلَّهُ الْإِيقَانُ وَالثَّبْتُ فَإِنَّهُ شَكَّ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ وَمِنَ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى صِحَّةِ إِسْنَادِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَزَارِيَّ أَحْفَظُ أَصْحَابِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ رَوَاهُ بِزِيَادَةِ أَلْفَاظٍ فِيهِ بِالْإِسْنَادِ الْأَوَّلِعلى شرط البخاري ومسلم
