[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ , so we said, "If only we knew which actions are most beloved to Allah." Then he mentioned the hadith in a similar manner.  

الحاكم:٢٣٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا قُعُودًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقُلْنَا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ أَيَّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» وَأَكْبَرُ ظَنِّي أَنَّ الَّذِي حَمَلَهُمَا عَلَى تَرْكِهِ رِوَايَةُ الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ بِخِلَافِ رِوَايَةِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ وَغَيْرِهِ
