[Machine] Indeed, no one used to drink from Rome except by paying a price. So, I bought it with my money and made it available for the rich, the poor, and the traveler." They said, "Yes."

الحاكم:١٥٢٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ لَمَّا حُضِرَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ أَشْرَفَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ فَوْقِ دَارِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أذَكِّرُكُمَ اللَّهَ هَلْ تَعْلَمُونَ

أَنَّ رُومَةَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَشْرَبُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا بِثَمَنٍ فَابْتَعْتُهَا مِنْ مَالِي فَجَعَلْتُهَا لِلْغَنِيِّ وَالْفَقِيرِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»
