[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed over a funeral and he uttered four takbeers over it, and he gave salutations at the end, one salutation on the funeral." This narration has been authenticated in the reports of Ali ibn Abi Talib, Abdullah ibn Umar, Abdullah ibn Abbas, Jabir ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, and Abu Hurairah, that they used to give one salutation on the funeral."  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهَا أَرْبَعًا وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيمَةً التَّسْلِيمَةُ الْوَاحِدَةُ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ» قَدْ صَحَّتِ الرِّوَايَةُ فِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ تَسْلِيمَةً وَاحِدَةً
