hakim:1260 – Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Isḥāq b. al-Khurāsānī al-ʿAdl > Muḥammad b. al-Haytham al-Qāḍī > Ibn Abū Maryam > Yaḥyá b. Ayyūb > Ibn al-Hād > Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm > Abū Salamah > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī > Lammā Ḥaḍarah al-Mawt Daʿā Bithiyāb Judud Falabisahā Thum > Rasūl

When the time of his death came, he called for new clothes and put on them. He then said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A deceased will be raised in the clothes in which he died. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3114)  

الحاكم:١٢٦٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنْبَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّهُ لَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ دَعَا بِثِيَابٍ جُدُدٍ فَلَبِسَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي يَمُوتُ فِيهَا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
