[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about two men from the Children of Israel. One of them was a scholar who would pray the obligatory prayers and then sit and teach people goodness. The other would fast during the day and stand in prayer during the night. Which of them is better? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The superiority of the scholar who prays the obligatory prayers and then sits teaching people goodness over the worshipper who fasts during the day and stands in prayer during the night is like my superiority over the most inferior among you."
