[Machine] About 'Amir, there was a slave between two men. One of them emancipated his share, so he said, "Complete his emancipation. If he does not have property, the slave should be sold for half of a fair price, and the right to manumit is for the one who emancipated him."  

الدارمي:٣١٨١حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا

عَنْ عَامِرٍ فِي عَبْدٍ بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ أَعْتَقَ أَحَدُهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ فَقَالَ «يُتَمَّمُ عِتْقُهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ اسْتُسْعِيَ الْعَبْدُ فِي النِّصْفِ بِقِيمَةِ عَدْلٍ وَالْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ»
