Alcoholic drinks were prohibited. At that time these drinks used to be prepared from unripe and ripe dates.

أَنَّ الْخَمْرَ حُرِّمَتْ وَالْخَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْبُسْرُ وَالتَّمْرُ
