Prohibitions of Allah are of most importance to Him

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has ghayrah (protective jealousy), and the ghayrah of Allah is ˹provoked˺ when a believer does something that Allah has prohibited."  

البخاري:٥٢٢٣وَعَنْ يَحْيَى أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغَارُ وَغَيْرَةُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ۔»
