Prohibitions of Allah are of most importance to Him

bukhari:5223 – [Chain 1] Yaḥyá > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah; [Chain 2] Abū Nuʿaym > Shaybān > Yaḥyá > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has ghayrah (protective jealousy), and the ghayrah of Allah is ˹provoked˺ when a believer does something that Allah has prohibited."  

البخاري:٥٢٢٣ – وَعَنْ يَحْيَى أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغَارُ وَغَيْرَةُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ۔»
