bukhari:3551 – Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > al-Barāʾ b. ʿĀzib

The Prophet ﷺ was of moderate height having broad shoulders (long) hair reaching his ear-lobes. Once I saw him in a red cloak and I had never seen a more handsome than him."  

البخاري:٣٥٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ؓ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَرْبُوعًا بَعِيدَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ لَهُ شَعَرٌ يَبْلُغُ شَحْمَةَ أُذُنِهِ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ لَمْ أَرَ شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ قَالَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ إِلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had hair which reached the lobes of his ears, and I saw him wearing red robe. I did not see anything more beautiful than it.  

أبو داود:٤٠٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّمَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَهُ شَعْرٌ يَبْلُغُ شَحْمَةَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ لَمْ أَرَ شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ  

ibnhibban:6284 – Abū Khalīfah > al-Ḥawḍī And Ibn Kathīr > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > al-Barāʾ

ابن حبّان:٦٢٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَوْضِيُّ وَابْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ
