On the day (of the battle) of Uhad when (some) people retreated and left the Prophet, I saw ʿAisha bint Abu Bakr and Um Sulaim, with their robes tucked up so that the bangles around their ankles were visible hurrying with their water skins (in another narration it is said, "carrying the water skins on their backs"). Then they would pour the water in the mouths of the people, and return to fill the water skins again and came back again to pour water in the mouths of the people.

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Talhah, in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he was asked a question and he responded using a metaphor. He said, "I have indeed seen Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr, and Umm Sulaim, and they were both wearing garments that showed their wrists. I saw their servants carrying their belongings on their backs, and then emptying them into the mouths of the people. They would then return and refill them, and come back again to empty them into the mouths of the people."
