13. The Two ʿId Festivals (Eids)

13.24 Whoever returned (after offering the Eid prayer) on the day of Eid through a way different from that by which he went

١٣۔٢٤ باب مَنْ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيقَ إِذَا رَجَعَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ

bukhari:986 – Muḥammad > Abū Tumaylah Yaḥyá b. Wāḍiḥ > Fulayḥ b. Sulaymān > Saʿīd b. al-Ḥārith > Jābir

On the Day of ʿId the Prophet ﷺ used to return (after offering the ʿId prayer) through a way different from that by which he went.  

البخاري:٩٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عِيدٍ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيقَ  

تَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فُلَيْحٍ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ أَصَحُّ
