bayhaqi:9937 – Abū al-Ḥusayn b. al-Faḍl al-Qaṭṭān> ʿAbdullāh b. Jaʿfar b. Darastawayh > Yaʿqūb b. Sufyān

[Machine] So it was as if he (or it) restored life to the dead, and it was said: "He brought back the flesh." And Allah knows best.  

البيهقي:٩٩٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الصَّعْبَ بْنَ جَثَّامَةَ أَهْدَى لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَجُزَ حِمَارِ وَحْشٍ وَهُوَ بِالْجُحْفَةِ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ وَأَكَلَ الْقَوْمُ وَهَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ مَحْفُوظًا

فَكَأَنَّهُ رَدَّ الْحِيَّ وَقِيلَ اللَّحْمَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
